It’s becoming obvious that Fred really isn’t riding in to save the GOP day. If it comes down to Giuliani, Hukabee or Romney, then Romney all the way!

If it comes down to those three, no thanks.

A Romney Huckabee ticket sounds plausible.

I’m not enthused about any of those 3. Rooty is a big lib, Huckabee is a stealth lib, and Romney has conveniently migrated to the non-lib side of the house just in time for primary season— let’s just say I doubt what he’ll do once he gets the reins. I will dutifully pull the lever against Her Thighness, but it will be a queasy election year, to be sure.

Romney has the same problem Dole had.

I’ll be home on election day if Romney is the candidate. The Mormons are a cult.

Duncan Hunter is the solution and the problem is the unnecessary self-destruction of the conservative movement because we have let the eft wing media and the self-interested corporate and wealthy big money donors decide who our Republican candidates should be.

WAY before Fred announced he was running I was ever so hopeful he’d “be the man”. I don’t think I could be more disappointed in him.

Bottom line, as it appears TODAY (and we all know things can change and change and change in the next year) Romney IS the one that is carrying most of the conservative points, with a boatload of energy and vigor.

If it comes down to them, we're doomed. The future of this country is depends on Fred winning the nomination. If we pick the liberal, the lying politician, or the southern Democrat, I'll vote third party.
