US House Democratic Leader To Block Cheney Impeachment Effort
WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said Tuesday he will block an effort to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney.
Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio has announced he will try to force a vote on Cheney's impeachment.
Hoyer said he will use parliamentary tactics to table that effort.
"Impeachment is not on the agenda," Hoyer said.

Dennis must be soooooooooooo unhappy.
I’m sure Hoyer would love to see Cheney impeached as well, but at least he has the political smarts not to try it.
The moonbats will go berserk (berserker?) and want to impeach Hoyer.

Can he impeach our senator Feinstein? She gave billions in no bid contracts to family members and it seems she only lost her chair on the committee. Should these people be allowed to stay in office.

I like Steny and have even received notes back from him on occassion, but I still hope they manage to throw him under the bus.

I have seen this so often that it is irritating.
We are all democratic.
They are democrats not democratics.
The loons on the left are delirious with joy; they think Kunich reading the document puts it in the Congressional Record for the day.
Sorry, that is not how it happens. It has to be officiall “recognized” as actually having occurred before it gets in the record otherwise loons would be standing up there all day long making themselves sound important.

“Kook” knew this would happen. He was just ginning up some publicity to keep the campaiagn contributions from the moonbats coming in.
I expect there’s more than just political calculation here. I recently finished Stephen Hayes’ book on Cheney. When Cheney was in the House he was very well respected on both sides of the aisle, and Steny Hoyer was one who, IIRC, got to know him and thought very highly of him. To my knowledge Hoyer, while liberal, has never been a bitter partisan.
Me too. I, for one, love Kucinich. I get all warm & tingly just knowing that he’s on the OTHER side.

Rep. Conyers did the same thing and took in several hundred thousand dollars from the nuts about two years ago. He would direct them to a web site that was suppose to be a “blog with John COnyers” but he would solicit them for contributions for his impeachment war and then try to sell them his book.
The loons just love being used.......
