Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, perhaps preparing to get back into the presidential ring one day, claims he's now armed with materials that will make war record critics from his 2004 presidential campaign go running tail between legs.
The 63-year-old Democratic senator told The Patriot-Ledger on Tuesday that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group of Navy servicemen who served with Kerry and criticized his record in Vietnam, will be revealed as liars.
"We have put together a documented portfolio that frankly puts their lies in such a total light of absurdity and indecency, that should they ever rear their ugly heads again, we have every single 't’ crossed and 'i’ dotted, and I welcome that in a sense,'' Kerry said after addressing Boston's South Shore Chamber of Commerce. "It’s a shame we weren’t able to produce all that at the time.''

Please explain how Kerry would be able to destroy his original 180. Wouldn’t there be an original on file with the department of Veteran’s affairs or at least somewhere?? Obviously there must be an original copy somewhere since he refuses to release his 180.
He signed it in 2005, asking for a full release of everything. He directed it to the Boston Globe reporter who wrote Kerry’s bio- and that’s that. He signed it, he released it, but not to FReepers!
I can hear his flat whiny voice now- “As in the past the Swiftboat people are at their lies again. They demand that I ‘sign the 180’, but I did, in 2005!”

Thanks for the info. I did think that the 180 was a form to sign to release records, and then I got confused thinking the 180 was the record!! Now I see how Kerry thinks he can say he signed his 180.....so the questions to Kerry should be “Senator Kerry, did you file your 180 with the proper agency so your records will be released??” “You signed your 180 in 2005, so why haven’t your records been released yet??”
That’s the most screwed up salute I have seen in a long time.
I understand that Dan Rather has a copy of Kerry’s Form 180 which will clear Kerry’s negative image while in Viet Nam.
It’ll be released at the right moment.
The person holding the data is that Globe reporter, not Kerry! Kerry put onto his release forms that everything went to Kranish (and if you read the article, the only thing Kranish says is that there are many more commendations than Kerry had mentioned).
The Globe guy is the one who must release them to the public. He is under no obligation to either release, or keep them, he can shred them if he wants to or has wanted to since 2005.
Kerry was clever in doing this, he signed the 180, released his records, and now it’s not his fault nor responsibility if we can’t pore over them in detail.
anything on paper can be destroyed or stolen. Even "Top Secret" documents from the National Archives can be destroyed that are under lock and key.
Do you think a lowly little F-180 sitting all by itself with millions of others has a chance to survive if it was in danger of being a burden to a democrat, horse faced, lying, rich pussy like Kerry.
I'm betting he's spent time and money not only tracking down the originals but also every copy and fitness report in order to make sure he can "fight those Swift Boat" vets.
Not one MSM show put all of them together and highlighted the absolute BS in Kerry's claims, including the "No Spin" so called "Looking out for the Little Guy" O'Reilly.
Personally I could and can care less if anybody says that they're a Spec Ops, SEAL, Marine or anything....cause real ones don't try to use it as a club. Most of the time it's the way you carry yourself, conduct yourself under stress or kick someone's a$$ when it comes up , such as "wow why are you so disciplined?" "Why weren't you scared to help that person." "Why do you stand so straight and hold your hand over your chest when the flag is raised?" or "Why did you beat that thief senseless and stick your boot so far up his a##?"...
You can look them in the eye and say, "I learned that in the (insert branch of service here)." Where as BS artists use it to say they're gonna do this and that or they did this in that to pick up chicks or brag at bars or otherwise "get something" cause they were in the service.
Now when it comes to medals..... that's different. You need to be DESTROYED for that crap. Men, real men, with honor bled and died for those little trinkets that hold no value except to other men of honor and certainly not to some punk b#tch, limp d#cked, traitor from Massachusetts that has nothing in common with soldiers and certainly not men of honor.
Massachusetts veterans should be ashamed to have that phony P.O.S. claim to be from their state instead of representing them in the Senate. .....geez I wish I could keep my blood pressure down, but screw it.
