If you think about it, it is true. Liberals (I believe) are trying to fight reality (and natural law), that is why they always trying to enact laws that are against nature, either fiscally (through socialism) or personally through promotion (through government) of real destructive sexual sins. Their problems is that they ARE going to have to learn the lesson sometime, but it pisses me off that they want to drag US down before they learn that lesson themselves. Many (at least the anti-god secularist) ARE in rebellion toward God; REPENT!

Further, liberals ignore human nature. Thomas Jefferson said it is the nature of government to grow in power in tyranny over the governed. He was describing the ugly side to human nature. In a liberals mind, you have to give the government more power to do good. The deficiency of the mindset is to ignore the far bigger potential of doing bad. Liberals and more commonly leftists disdain Christianity because it preaches the ugly side of human nature-"we are born in sin". They do not want to hear Thomas Jefferson's logical extension of that statement, because larger government would mean more "sin" or more ill.

I think liberals believe that any disagreement between the way they think the world works, and the way it actually does, is because of flaws in the world. Since they can fix their imaginary world to be perfect, they think anyone who can't fix the real world to match simply isn't trying hard enough.

It's almost embarrassing how long it took me to realize that while reality might not be as much fun as fantasy, for practical purposes it's far superior. A building design which can practically be built and be structurally sound is far superior to one that cannot, no matter how much better the latter might be aesthetically.
