Same ugly Surrender Pig, they’re just trying to find a different dress to put it in.

Time for a Bush speech:

The coalition’s success in Iraq is driving partisan’s in the Senate to undermine our ability to complete our mission.
It is shamefull that these partisans believe that by investing in America’s defeat, they can extend their political power.

Why doesn’t the GOP seize control like they just did with that rediculous Cheney impeachment debacle. They need to introduce legislation that commends the troop surge as the right approach and pledge to support General Patreus action in Iraq. The GOP could include language that agrees that as the success of the surge continues to take hold the mission will continued to be turned over to Iraq security forces with more and more troops returning home... tie in a basing infrastructure to that.. kinda like the Marshall plan and WALAH... Let the Democrats go on the defensive it will force them to no support part of what they want.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says the basis of the plan is identical to previous bills moved by the Democratic majority..

Isn't that one of the definitions of insanity?

It will be vetoed. The Democrats are trying to put defeat in a new dress. They must think the President and the American people are stupid.

Maybe the Republicans should pull a fast one on the Democrats like they did with the impeachment vote yesterday and come up with a 100% defunding bill and see if the Democrats would vote ‘yes’ or kill it.

Sort of risky though.
