No Dems went to the Ford Building. Even if they had, it would not have made a difference. The only thing that could have made a difference was if Trent Lott saw that Clinton’s victims testified before the Senate. Lott is a coward and didn’t do that. There was no chance to convict Clinton in the Senate with the American public being convinced he was a rapist. Public opinion might have changed things.

One of the reasons Trent Lott didn’t do anything was because Hillary Clinton had Lott’s FBI files. In the file on Lott supposedly was information that Trent Lott had sampled a homosexual tryst in college when he was a cheerleader. At the same time Henry Hyde was also being blackmailed by Hillary because his files revealed he had an extra-marital affair. To his credit Henry Hyde when confronted by Hillary with the information in the FBI file, which she illegally possessed, Henry Hyde told Hillary to take her best shot because he had already answered to his wife. Trent Lott did not have as big a set of stones. I also remember the Lisa Meyers story on Clinton’s alleged rape. As soon as Meyers had finished working on the story the finished product was taken away from her and locked in a corporate safe.
