The Spanish radio and TV stations in the Washington, D.C. area ran commercials for a month urging their audiences to “vote for those who cannot vote.” A small-minded, paranoid person could also have interpreted those commercials as urging illegal immigrants to vote, but surely not.

We need an immigration policy that upholds our values and welcomes people to this country with marketable skills who speak English and are positioned to contribute to America's prosperity rather than become public charges. This ought to be the basis of a sound conservative approach towards immigration. Its not a complicated issue at all and the American people have made it clear what they want to see done.

The interesting thing is that Obama and Edwards criticize Clinton for being on both sides of the issue, instead of squarely on the side of licenses for illegals as are they.

Giuliani supporters should keep in mind that nominating a NY liberal to run against a NY liberal will take away the Republican’s most powerful issue against Hillary. Note what problems a question out on the fringe of the immigration/amnesty debate has caused for her. Think what tough questions, or statements during debates from a non-open borders Republican would do to Hillary’s credibility.

All this uproar over driver’s licenses for illegals in one state has caused Hillary more trouble than anything thus far. Nominate Rudy and she gets a pass on that and all the far more damaging questions she should be required to answer concerning her open borders/amnesty votes and plans if elected.

Just how many times has Clinton voted for illegals in some way or another this year? IS it like 9 times or something?
