Hey, Nancy,

how about DOMESTIC DRILLING FOR OIL? NEVER OCCURRED TO YOU?

How about THE FRICKIN’ CHICOMS ARE DRILLING OFF THE COAST OF FLORIDA FOR _OUR_ OIL?

Why is high prices on oil a problem for the Left wing, Greenie people like her? I THOUGHT they WANTED to shut down cars and trucks and save Carbon Emissions (might be better if she closed her mouth)

"DEMOCRATS IT'S YOUR FAULT!"

Yes, but a Republican Congress for 6 years failed us miserably while spending wildly in other areas.

They are just as guilty in denying us access to reasonable energy.

invest in the homegrown biofuels - raising the cost of food, as farmland switches from growing food to growing fuel.

strengthen our national security - apologize profusely to everyone so they'll like us, and not interfering when friendly nations are overrun.

lower energy prices - price controls, which translate to less fuel.

create jobs - for more bureaucrats paying more farmers to grow fuel which they'll get more money for than food.

promote energy efficiency - by making fuel too expensive to use.

reduce the threat of global warming - no fuel = no automotive emissions.

But I thought we invaded Iraq for cheap oil?

NO, No, no, we invaded Iraq so George Bush and Dick Cheney and his cronies can make 5 septillion a year salaries after leaving office, get with the moonbat brain dead zombie dummycrat program.

Here we are 10 months after the disaster of the 110th congress began to convene and all we have to show is empty Democrat rhetoric.

It all boils down to stupid Democrats continued restrictions on our nation's free market ability to extract and refine resources on our on soil.

Allow the oil companies to drill in ANWR and other locations with known reserves, encourage exploration on our soil and soften or remove regulations that stymie development and profitability of refineries.

I would venture to say he is not the only big spender in DC. I can partially blame him on the dollar’s fall, he should have pressured the fed to raise the rate, but fault him minimally in regards to the price of oil.

Interesting question above: How much has the price of oil gone up since the Dems took over Congress?

Drill ANWR, drill off the west coast, the east coast, build new refineries, build nuclear power plants—heck, just SAY the country is going to do all four, and watch that oil price fall.

Typical - blame Bush. Seems to me oil prices have gotten even worse since Pelosi took office. Why doesn’t she mention that?

Nancy should look in the mirror, except of course, that would mean one broken mirror, when she states that it is the President's fault. Oil prices are higher since you and your do-nothing-Democrat-controlled-Congress have taken office. Oil prices are higher. So what? Prices go up, new records are set. It is a fact of life. And they will go up and down just like global warming. But at least the prices are really tied to humans rather than global warming.

I’ll take my corn the old fashioned way...with butter and salt!

The libs haven’t realized that their favorite open spaces would have to be converted to make enough corn. If they envisioned those beautiful meadows plowed under for corn maybe they would.

“For the nearly seven years of the Bush Administration, the rising cost of gas and home heating oil has been a major economic stress on millions of American families. The response from President Bush has been to promote new benefits and tax breaks for an industry already enjoying record profits. The American people, not the oil industry, need help from their government.

"During that time we Democrats in Congress have done everything we can to insure reduced exploration and access to domestic oil supplies and other mineral resources. We have blocked any attempt to increase refining capacity and efficiency improvements. We have bypassed market resources for increased fuel efficiencies and alternative pollution reduction methods. We have tightened the world's food supply and paid handsome subsidies to our ag buddies. I don't believe we have missed any opportunity to limit access to energy and restrict the energy supply vital to our economy. Of course, it's all Bush's fault."

If the dems cared at all about energy security they would be looking for ways to allow drilling off our coasts, encouraging the use of clean coal and clearing the decks for nukes to be constructed plus allowing new refineries and LNG facilities to be built. They are against all those things.

And stop requiring different formulations for different parts of the US.
