He opposes the criminalization of abortion. He said so, repeatedly. When are you going to get it through your thick skulls that means he’s pro-choice?

And when are you going to get it through YOUR thick skull that he believes abortion is a state issue, not a federal. He believes in states rights. Good grief you’re clueless.

No, it just means that his pro-life views are consistent with most people.

He doesn’t think that 17 year old girls should be thrown in jail for getting an abortion.

And neither do I.

I support a pro-life record but one that also realizes that to end abortion one must change hearts and minds. Brute force isn’t the way to do that.

He opposes the criminalization of abortion.

So you are in favor of arresting any woman who has had an abortion, putting her in jail and then on trial for murder? Tell me how that's gonna work.

Not every morally wrong decision should be criminalized. We don’t have enough jail space for everyone who commits immoral acts.

Wrong. First, he wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade so that states can make their own abortion law (including criminalizing it if they like). Thompson personally would not criminalize abortion -- i.e., throw people in prison. There are plenty of things that are illegal and subject to heavy penalties, but are not criminal offenses.
