Building up a Palestinian force capable of providing security and preventing militants from attacking Israel is a key part of a U.S.-backed push to revive peacemaking and meet Israeli security demands for ending its occupation.
There are times when it just baffles me to watch this White House and it's refusal to take historical events into account.
Looking at what Israel has had to put up with, I find it impossible to fault them for aprehension concerning the deployment of a Palestinian security force. I do find it reprehensible to read about our government giving Israe trouble for maintaining contact with reality.

Am I missing something, or aren't the Palestinian forces the very militants (read terrrorists) that are attacking Israel? Has someone slipped something in Bush's drink?

Convert from ECUSA
(Giving amnesty to illegal aliens is like giving land and aid to "Palestinians")
