• She knows that she doesn't have what it takes to govern the greatest nation that Mankind has ever created.
• When she loses she will have innumerable lavishly-compensated speaking engagements for the rest of her life, where she can bleat about how she was 'deprived' of her 'historic opportunity' by the 'evil Republican, male-dominated Attack Machine'
• Being on the Outside of an administration allows her to merely attack without providing solutions, something the Dems are experts at.
• She will go down in Socialist lore as a Martyr.
