I would say 85% of humans and 85% of cultures operate primarily from emotion and 15% operate primarily from logic and intellect

(insert Elmer Fudd voice) I learn very...very...slo.oowly. For most of human history you didn’t have to out think much but a fish, or a dear, or frost on turnips.

We are moving into a post physical work world. I saw the furnace guy come with a gas spectrum analyzer to check the efficiency of the furnace. 20 years ago, that existed only in university labs. Now a shot and a beer guy is using it.

So, stuff is filtering down. Liberals like to think of the noble(ism) of physical work, but anyone doing it prays for any labor savings device. And if you don’t the other guy is getting one and putting you out of business.

I think we are in the Model-T era of computers and the Internet. We don’t know how they will shape and transform.

Bigger picture. The Asians make everything, we think it up, and where do Arabs fit in?

Social Darwinism bearing down on poor fit cultures can be ugly.
