Have a great weekend,Dolly..Glad you are doing so well.Thank you for our thread.
A little report on the day...son called around 9:00 and I’m not ashamed that my ‘boy’ was crying...I started too. His words were “Mom, she won’t have to suffer anymore”. He wanted to bury her at my place because he sold his house a few months ago and will be moving in February. He wants to get some land and build.
He fixed a wooden box (very nice)and I stayed with him as he dug and fixed the grave and we put her in and finished. We got control of ourselves for that time. I didn’t want to go to Red Hats but decided I should or just stay home and cry.
He had lots to do today and is doing better tonight.
Went to one of favorite places for lunch “The Swallow Tail”, in Abingdon, Va. Got home about 4 and had to change clothes to go to funeral home visitation for my friend and daughter. She is doing okay but its been a long ordeal for her. A couple of friends picked me up.
The day is almost over with lots of sadness but with some laughing and happiness with a loud bunch of my gal friends.
Put a bunch of women together and we can make fun!
Thanks to you all for your sweet messages today and the beautiful posts and cute posts. I haven’t answered each individual but I have viewed them all. You all are the greatest!! I am a very fortunate person to have all of you! I am serious!!
