Dumb accusations get appropriate responses. Read what was posted to me.

I browsed the thread and it was you who jerked the first knee in post #27. I whole-heartedly agree with what ATC stated.

So then if we won't support a third party candidate who wasn't able to win the Republican nomination, then it's our attitude that is part of the problem and it is folks like us who are screwing up?

It's not our attitude, it's the GOP attitude. If the GOP wants to nominate a liberal, corrupt, immoral turd like Rudy as it's standard-bearer, they can do so without me. If rank-and-file Republicans want to support Rudy thinking he's the "only one" who can defeat Hillary, they can do so without my vote, time, and donations.

If Rudy's nominated, then you might as well stick a salad fork into the GOP.

This is why I’m leaning toward voting for Huckabee in the primaries. I doubt he’ll win, and I really disagree with him about his populist stances (although I support the Fair Tax) but at least I won’t be doing what “the establishment” says I have to do in order to “be politically smart”.

The DBM is pushing Huckabee because they want to split the anti Rudy vote. Fred was doing well against Rudy until Huckabee came along.

If you vote for Huckabee in the primaries you are doing what the DBM wants. If you vote for Huckabee in the primaries then it is even more likely that Rudy will get the nomination.

Post #27 wasn't mine. That's your knee jerk.

Teddy Roosevelt?

I thought about him but in the modern form of the term “liberal” which now, certainly must be paired with the the word “trash,” to form “liberal trash,” there would certainly be nobody of his stature, nor any room whatsoever in the democrat party for anyone like him..

I would be fine with any “liberal” who thought like this:

When they call the roll in the Senate, the Senators do not know whether to answer “Present” or “Not guilty.”

There can be no fifty-fifty Americanism in this country. There is room here for only 100% Americanism, only for those who are Americans and nothing else.
Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all.

The pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrongdoer.

The man who loves other countries as much as his own stands on a level with the man who loves other women as much as he loves his own wife.
- Theodore Roosevelt

But Liberal trash today does not. - To hear them claim such a giant of an American as one of their own is an insult to his grave. - and an insult to intelligent Americans everywhere.

thank you for your post. - Bill

"All of my friends, all of the people I’ve associated with, all the people I respect, the vast majority of them would fall into the category of conservative thinkers, conservative lawyers and strict-constructionist judges.”

Yawn---Rooty's having a "Come to Jesus" moment---a temporary blackout when he "thinks" he's a conservative.

Contributions from NARAL will snap Turdiani back to reality.

Giuliani is joined at the hip with abortion savages, NARAL and Planned Parenthood and the fem-lib types. Musta had a good laugh hearing abortion worshipper Giuliani say he's gonna appoint judges to "curtail" abortion.

Giuliani told Phil Donohue on broadcast TV he'd finance the killing of his own grandchild---would give his daughter money for an abortion.

The savagery of this man cannot be underestimated.

My granddaughter needed info on federalism. I searched it on FR. Every article that came up was related to Fred.

For Romney, the promise is that he is really, truly pro-life after runs for office in 1994 and 2002 in which he was strongly, emphatically pro-choice.

This country would go positively nuts if he said “I’m the best man for the job, Im running.”

WHY??

The requirements to hold the office include a stipulation that the POTUS must be a natural born American citizen of age 35 or older...

I think you’re lyin’ through your divisive teeth.

My teeth are clean. Appears it's you with the problem. A liberal turd wrapped in a decorative package is still a liberal turd.

BTW...The republican party swept Clinton into the White House, not Perot. Clinton couldn't even pull of a majority vote which proves my point. The republican party puts up crappy candidate...they get beat.

Apparently Mitt is doing a good job persuading some of his most hard-core critics--these in the deepest Bible-belt south. Check out his trend lines in SC, especially compared to those of favorite-son Thompson and Baptist preacher Huckabee:

... and that form is slickness like a clinton.

I've got to ask. How many Mormans do you know?

I've been friends and neighbors with Morman families since I was in college. I've had a business relationship with numerous Mormans, as well.

As a group, Mormans are probably the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever met. I don't recall ever hearing a lie, even some kind of misdirection, from one.

Based on my experience, if Romney swears to it, I'm inclined to accept it.

And, apparently, so is Weyrich.

In any event, I can absolutely assure you that Mitt Romney -- because of where he came from -- is no (shudder) Bill Clinton. That would be simply out of the question.

Well, if you are referring to sinkEmperor's sexual degeneracy, I would agree 100% that Mitt Romney is no clinton. On the other hand, the slick way Mitt has pretended to be a pro-life convert is reminiscent of slick Willy and his ghoul sidekick, Gore. Both claimed to be whatever it took to get the votes, then they showed where they really stood when legislation time came, which was on the 'firm side' of whatever the polls said. Romney is more like bill clinton than like Reagan. Romney showed how slick he is by getting elected as governor in leftist liberal Massatwosh!ts, where Ted Kennedy and John Kerry and Barney Franks are so beloved. 36 years Mitt has been claiming pro-choice credentials, until he needs Christian Conservative votes. Weyrich is getting something for selling his pro-life soul to slick Willard. And you can bet it isn't protection for embryonic humans or womb-bound humans.

Regarding knowing Mormons, a man and his wife who have been my best friends are Momrons, and I've seen frist hand what Mormonism duplicity really is.

All the party ever offers us is, “Think how bad it will be if the other side wins”. Vote for OUR SCHMUCK! I’m firmly sick of it.

Your experience is regrettable. And I can't blame you for letting it shape your judgment.

Similarly, my experience to the contrary has helped shape my judgment in the matter.

Romney isn't my favorite. But, if he's the nominee, I'll support him without reservation.
