Exactly. What is the point here? The fact that “somebody” wants to check, and “somebody” doesn’t should speak volumes.

Democrats generally oppose identity or citizenship checks because it discourages people from voting.Democrats generally oppose checks on whether the voter is actually alive.

The REAL NEWS here is that someone writing editorials at the Denver Post has developed working brain parts: Frankly, it doesn't seem like a lot to ask to ensure that only citizens vote in U.S. elections.

The only thing I was NOT required to provide for my young children to play soccer was blood. I was required to give their SS#, birth certificate, proof of insurance and a photo ID. Oh and it needed to be notarized at that.
So when a person claims it is an infringement to require identification to show the right to vote then we are talking about VOTE FRAUD.

“Democrats generally oppose checks on whether the voter is actually alive.”
Well, this goes all the way back as far as I remember.
Kennedy was elected by dead voters in Chicago.
The Democrats are the masters at voter fraud, as they are at everything crooked.
It is pervasive from the basic local election to national.
Democraps have never been known for having any class or civility.

Should voters have to prove citizenship? Yes. Next question.
I'd even go a step further. I think you should have to take a short current events quiz and pass it to be able to vote. I know there are people out there voting who can barely fog a mirror, yet their uninformed vote counts just the same as someone who makes the effort to be informed before they cast their vote. Yea, I know it will never happen, which is why I would make a great dictator but a horrible president. Still, it would be nice if...

Yes. If people want to live under the leadership of officials elected by the citizens of some other country, they should move to that country.

that’s good diversity ...a token person-with-brains...
Why, indeed, would someone not have to prove who they are to vote or participate in any other event where identification should be a requirement...
Try checking out a library book without a library card and ID...

When I voted Tuesday, the clerk hollered “Hi, your husband was in this morning and your mother came in an hour ago”. Even so, I gave them my voter’s card and driver’s license and had to sign the list. If I hadn’t had a voter’s card, the only thing I would have had to have shown was a driver’s license and we all know how eager some states are to give those out like candy.

Democrats generally oppose identity or citizenship checks because it discourages people from voting. Of course. That is the idea, stupidos. Discourage non-qualified people from voting. You know, those illegal aliens, those folks using names off tombstones, those folks voting numberous times. You know, the democrat party's base.
