Here is a brief interview Fred did with Upstate South Carolina TV station WYFF 4, and added to YouTube on November 9, 2007. Essentially, Fred Thompson says in this interview that what sets him apart from his rivals is that he is the consistent conservative in the race, meaning that what he is saying today he was saying yesterday, and this is what he will be saying tomorrow. "What you see is what you get". . . .

A good one for the list, where Fred deals quite deftly with a really officious little twerp reporter.
Fred needs to break out pretty soon. I think he was counting on McCrazy to have dropped out by now.
Fred bump!
Fred needs to make up about 8 points in Iowa and he’s broken out.
It’s funny how people LOVE to marvel over everyone’s brilliant strategy and refuse to think for a second that Fred might have one too.
Underestimating Fred Thompson is a fool’s errand. :)
Question... Did you get in too late?
"Romnie has spent 50 million, 20 million of his own money and has been campaining for a year. But I am consistantly running second."
Question... How much of your own money have you spent campaining?
"None. Perhaps somt of the candidates got in too early."
Ouch, major dings against the Mittster delivered in Fred’s inimitable southern style...LOL!
Mitt thinks he can buy the election...we’ll see. One thing is for sure, that is the only way he can be elected, giving the voting public a snowjob.

WARNING: If you want to be added to this list, this ping list is EXTREMELY active.
Thanx for the ping..will be online later to read it/watch video. keep up the great work at keeping us informed. (You too jellybean!)
If he does that he may well win those states, but...
Does he have enough allowance and time right after the first primaries to buy the other 45 states?
That is where he will fail...
Count me as a fan of Fred.
Fred making sense... AGAIN.
>>> If he breaks out too soon, it will screw up his timing.
With less than 2 months to the first trials, 3 to Super Tuesday, I would hope to see some recovery to Fred’s early numbers.
As we know, the uninformed masses certainly don’t pay attention until 30 days out, but Rudy still has a strong lead in some critical races, and MittCain is almost even with Fred, with Huck the only one actually gaining ground (although still significantly back, he is moving and in the right direction — something I would like to see FDT doing).
I know MO (a Feb 5 state) is not as big a prize as California, but we are not seeing ANY Fred presence — heck Paul has more visibility than ALL of the other candidates — probably combined.
I’m still holding out for Fred, but a low flow campaign would have been better started earlier rather than later. Let’s hope he is saving a super-duper-sprint kick for the December-January-February final dash...you know his opponents are.
That is what everyone misses, and the failure of his opponents..
