hehe....Didn't Mark Twain say, "Never argue, with someone (the press) who, can criticize you by the Gallon.".....or words to that effect.
I imagine, he'll be "warned away" by the Shrillary and/or her numerous "known faceless/nameless" boot-lickers/lackeys.

“I’ll be listening to NJ101.5 in the morning now. Except for my drive home when I of course will be tuned into Mark Levin.”

So will I! I never liked Imus and I’m not going to start listening now. IMO, WABC made a bad move hiring him, but we will see.

Kuby is gone already, last Friday was the last morning on the air. Seems like he ran off like a little spoiled brat. Curtis will be on until Nov. 30th.

I got used to them over the years, I just couldn’t get used to Kuby’s stupid laugh though. I will miss them.

Actually, I think that one's closer to 10 or 15.

Now this one, on the other hand...

THAT'S what he looked like 25 years ago.

Imus is a limousine liberal, the worst kind but he does command an audience. WABC will continue to crush it’s competitors with it’s talk radio lineup.

Imus’ ratings were low, but his demographics were outstanding. A 30-second ad spot on his show fetched the most expensive ad rate in the New York City market.

BTW, I’m waiting on the edge of my seat to know whther Imus returns with or without Bernard McGuirk.

"I can’t believe Promise Keeper Program Director Phil Boyce thinks this is a good idea. Imus is an phoney, unfunny, old coot who barely registered any ratings on his old radio station"

You're not obligated to like him or listen but it is simply totally wrong to say he didn't have ratings. He had the most expensive ad minutes in most markets where he played. Huge numbers of Howard Stern listeners living in their mother's basements does not equal the richest demographic that Imus had. He was every radio time salesman's dream

Imus gave hillary and bill holy hell on several occasions, which certainly makes me think better of him.

Imus was a staunch supporter of John F'n Kerry and constantly attacked the credibility of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. His favorite guests were Timmy Russert and David Gregory. Let's see who it is now.

If he can’t (or won’t) continue to interview his regular “all star” cast of NBC news personalities, high profile politicians, famous writers and the like, is he going to attract the same demographic as before?

And without those star interviewees and that treasured demographic, will his show then be able to command its old, outrageous ad rates?

‘Twill be an interesting case to follow!

Another thing I hope Imus does on his first day back is work in part of Stevie Wonder's song "I Wish" into a bumper rotation.

"Looking back on when I
Was a little nappy headed boy"

I’m sure you’re right about the first part - Imus is a total phony and a virtual charicature of the pretentious upper west side liberal, and I think you’re right about the second part too — he has been taught a stern lesson and will never again challenge the Clintons and all of their minions.

Only problem is that his ratings stink. He has been over the hill for 30 years. What makes you think that’s about to change.

I never listen to one minute of don imus but, the trash the race pimps jesse jackson and al sharpton have spoken in the last 25 or 30 years was never taken off the air waves and for the most part never condemned!! it is just when a white man says something off hand it is oh so serious!! damn that and the people that condemns free speech whatever is said.
