Lived in Canyon City for five years. Be careful in that town. Trying to get any kind of work done by a contractor is almost impossible. It’s a prison town and it shows. Canyon City is in Fremont County.............14 prisons there.

Its called Canon City - with the tilde above the "o". It lies an hour west of me and when you exit the mountains, the first thing one sees is the state prison to one's left.
