El Paso County which includes Colorado Springs and Douglas County which is also on the Front Range. It’s not that far from Denver. The biggest town in Douglas is Castle Rock.

Bear in mind that Colorado is going blue.

Things have changed since the 70s. Colorado politics used to be a lot like Wyoming's. Then rich liberals moved into the mountain resorts and transformed Boulder, Durango And Pueblo and as they say, the rest is history.

Otherwise unincorporated Highlands Ranch comes in at about 90,000 folks.
