Finally we can see the key to the FDT strategy in an article. It goes back to my snipper analogy, he hits key targets and begins to cause others to slowly adjust their strategy to meet him, or avoid him, one or the other.
Next thing you know we wake up the next morning and Fred has won by 20% just like his first Senate run.
Time is actually on his side, let the other guys blow their money and make the mistakes and hit them before they can turn around. Seeing as how the top two are not really conservatives makes that easier.
Absolutely true, I was just giving invisible a "for the sake of the argument." My apologies to Fred for putting Blowjob in the same thought series as Fred...ugh...but it was necessary to rebut Invisible's ridiculous argument.
I put his post where it belonged..
Yah I saw, in the landfill.....nyuck nyuck nyuck..:)
-—To pay for the savings accounts and to help keep Social Security solvent, Thompson would change the way benefits are calculated. Over the next 50 years, benefits would grow much more slowly under Thompson’s proposal than in the current system.-—
This is something you say after you’re elected!
Sure I support Rudy... in his bid to enter the private sector where I don't have to hear from him, or be affected by any policy initiatives he might come up with. :)
I'm all for incrimentalism. However, having the government match people's savings doesn't strike me as moving the right direction.
I'm all for letting people divert even a small part of their social security taxes into private accounts. I'd be happy to start with as little as 1%, with the hope that over time we can increase that percentage.
But I simply don't get why we should be having the government match it. Why should taxpayers be saving for other people's retirement? Everyone should save for his or her own retirement.
FRED bump
BTTT
Rudy would have to argue his own political agenda to argue Hitlery's.
That would be one heck of a political feat indeed.
Ha! "Countess of Cackle" ~ poifect
I'm trying to understand the way others are looking at this race. Conservatives must unite behind Fred so that Romney and Huckabee are knocked off. Please people...read these important positions and be realistic as to who we need to unite behind. It certainly is not Romney or Huckabee. It cant be McCain or Rudy. I pray that Iowa and New Hampshire open their eyes and realize what their decisions will mean for the rest of us out here that will not have an opportunity to even vote for our choice. I have never lived in an early voting state and have been disheartened by the fact that I will not be a part of this very important vote.
Choose wisely, we are all depending on you.
