I do worry about the gender issue. There’s been a trend lately for people - both Liberals and Conservatives - to vote on emotion, not logic. That’s why slogans like “it’s for the children”, “save the environment”, etc. work so well.

I think there are a lot of people who will buy the “gender card” for that reason. There’s no logical reason to vote for hillary - but there are plenty of “feel good” aspects to voting for a woman - any woman.

Now if the GOP nominee selected a woman as vp.......

I love shattering stereotypes. Young, female, Latina, single...and conservative. I’ve never voted on emotion. My first vote was for Bob Dole. Yep, grouchy old politically incorrect Bob Dole over Bill “I feeeeeel your pain” Clinton. And I’d do it again.
