What's really frustrating is when a movie uses it in such a way that the plot nearly turns on THAT WORD - and then, when the movie airs on network, something else gets substituted. I saw one movie where a prison riot started over someone being called that - but when the movie showed on Bravo, the word got dubbed in as 'black'. What? We're supposed to think the riot got started because someone used the politically correct term at the time of the movie?
An even more odious example of that is in Die Hard 3, where Bruce Willis is forced to walk through Harlem wearing a sandwich board that says "I HATE NI___RS", which was supposed to get him killed. When the movie showed on network, it said "I HATE EVERYBODY" - what, we're supposed to accept that, instead of blacks killing whites upon extreme provocation by a racial slur, they'll do it just because an equal opportunity hater is marching around town? Aren't they promoting a racist attitude towards blacks by painting this picture?
