That is an oddly passive story. WHO in the U.S. House introduced this legislation, and who is co-sponsoring it? The bill did not just introduce itself. There IS human involvement. What is the bill number, and what is its status?

I like it. Perhaps our younger generation will learn what happens when the government sticks their noses in our business. Congress has gone after smokers, drug companies, oil companies and a whole spat of no-fat and gun laws. Now maybe these kids will learn it does not stop where they thought it would.

Somehow I think conservatives will get blamed for this even though #1 It’s a Democrat Congress and #2 Both the music industry and Hollywood and lib controlled.
If they decide to roll back copyright terms to a more reasonable 28 years, I’d consider paying attention to copyrights again.
