American criminals they won't find refuge south of the border - despite what the movies say. Of course Mexican citizens committing crimes in the USA can find comfort in Mexico.

Can you imagine the vile statements that would be made about a US Marshall who was this guys counterpart in the U.S.? (ie, catching Mexican illegals in the U.S. who are wanted for various crimes).
The guy would would make Joe Arpaio look like a potential DNC Chairman candidate in 2008.
