Thank you for the dose great pictures of very special events. It does not matter whether it is our Nation's main ceremony or whether a local one it is still a very special and poignant occasion.
Throughout the world today countries with Americans and other nations that remember today as either Veterans Day or Remembrance Sunday have held similar services and that in itself is an awe inspiring. A day when the political events surrounding war are forgotten and the soldiers themselves are remembered; a unique day indeed.

I watched the British Remembrance Service on TV today and to see so many people taking part and others lining the streets watching was something that made me realise that at least once a year people do remember what sacrifices our armed forces make.

Maybe or maybe his grandfather won more than one set and he is wearing some of those as I assume the man with him is probably his grandfather.

William looked so smart today, I watched the whole thing on TV and it was very very moving especially the march pass of the Veterans after the main laying of the poppies.
I have recorded this to DVD and the previous night’s Remembrance Festival from the Royal Albert Hall anyone who would like a copy of the DVD freep me your address and I will mail a copy to you.
