I think Bill Gates is playing games. I never send an error report to microshaft.

Running Ubuntu 7.10 right now:
1) flash auto-installed from the web perfectly
2) as did the java 6.0 plugin

Like the other something is broke or out of date you tube runs just fine for me and my kids all using Firefox and believe me they watch a lot of You tube. If I had to guess your player is old and needs an update. The only site that does not present right is our troops website on club spaces and that is only the pictures not being in the right places.

I hope to be 100% Linux here soonIt's not Microsoft. i run SuSE with Firefox 2.0.0.9, and i have the same difficulty with YOuTube. It may be them.

I run Firefox on linux, and have never had a problem with youtube. I also run the plugin/extension "NoScript", and only allow the absolute minimum javascript to run for site that I need it to run on. Other wise I surf with Java/Javascript/Flash etc etc, denied.
Just make sure you Firefox and extensions are up to date.
