I get along quite well with the conservative daughters, just not their moms!

LOL! I'm sure their daughters look at you and wonder just what in the heck happened to THEIR mothers!

Actually, the two daughters of my "best friend" (when we were younger, of course) asked me just that question. I told them that young women were sold a bill of goods by the early feminists, and the piling on really continued as the rabid "man haters" (we came to learn were not only "man haters" by Lesbians) rose through the ranks and took control.

I had a friend who considered herself a feminist but was also very strongly pro-life. She was removed from her office by the pro-choice crowd claiming that "pro-life" and "pro-woman" were antithetical. They stated that bearing children was really a way for men to "keep the little woman at home and dependent on them."

I say being "pro-woman" really means that all women should have a choice, and that includes whether or not to get married, become mothers (not through aborting the babies they began), professional women.
