Can you imagine what Hillary and her team will do when they control the executive branch of the federal government? FBI files will be the least of it.

My thoughts exactly. If she treats the media this way, how will she treat us, the ordinary citizen? it is scary indeed.

If she’s elected I’ll buy stocks of companies that make shredding machines.

I think she’ll implode during the debates with a Republican candidate - although she’s probably got a plan for that. Her plan didn’t work so well the other night, though ....

A pretty wordy piece to flesh out the long standing obvious.

This is news?

“And, if that sounds familiar, it may be because the Clinton machine, say reporters and pro-Hillary Democrats, is emulating nothing less than the model of the Bush White House, which has treated the press with thinly veiled contempt and minimal cooperation. “The Bush administration changed the rules,” as one scribe puts it—and the Clintonites like the way they look. (To be sure, no one accuses the Clinton team of outright lying to the press, as the Bushies have done,. . .”

It’s all Bush’s fault /sarc

State controlled media, think “1984”. All that will exist is what Shrillary wants us to know exists.

The press has only itself to blame if their credibility which it is tainted.

It's enough to make you suspect that breeding fear and paranoia within the press corps is itself part of the Clinton campaign's strategy. And, if that sounds familiar, it may be because the Clinton machine, say reporters and pro-Hillary Democrats, is emulating nothing less than the model of the Bush White House, which has treated the press with thinly veiled contempt and minimal cooperation. "The Bush administration changed the rules," as one scribe puts it--and the Clintonites like the way they look.

LOL. How blatant!!! I had to check and see whether Scott Beauchamp wrote this.

And reporters say other press shops--notably those of Rudy Giuliani and John Edwards--are also highly combative.)

I am supposed to take this article seriously when it is from the publication that enabled a liar (Scott Beauchencamp) and when it fell apart lied themselves. Please!

Control - control - control. Kill or be killed. It’s a nasty business brought to the table by Hillary and her ilk.

I find it interesting that she treats the msm presstitutes like they are her b!tches.

And in the meantime the new media is ripping her to shreds.

"They're frightening!" says one reporter who has covered Clinton. "They don't see [reporting] as a healthy part of the process. They view this as a ruthless kill-or-be-killed game."

If they're this way with the media, it doesn't take much imagination to believe they are capable of worse actions to get rid of pesky troublemakers.

This looks like a reasonably straight story until you get to this:

"The Bush administration changed the rules," as one scribe puts it--and the Clintonites like the way they look. (To be sure, no one accuses the Clinton team of outright lying to the press, as the Bushies have done, or of crossing other ethical lines. And reporters say other press shops--notably those of Rudy Giuliani and John Edwards--are also highly combative.)

Horse pucky. Bill clinton changed the rules, when he went over reporters' heads to their bosses, as this article earlier says hillary does, and got them fired. He got at least 5 or 6 reporters fired, by threatening to sic the IRS and the SEC on their bosses.

Nobody fears Bush. You can say whatever you like about him, and you'll be back in the front row of the press briefing room the next day. But they fear hillary, and rightly so, because she will kill anyone who crosses her, figuratively and sometimes literally.

The article says the Clintons have been like this since 1992-1993, yet, it tries to put the blame on W Bush White House.

The news media will turn against Hillary as soon as they think that a “better” Democrat will win the ‘08 nomination (e.g. Gore, Lieberman, Kerry).

Otherwise, they will be on their kneepads bowing to her.

That question ALONE should be enough to scare every American citizen who cares about their freedoms, America, its Constitution, and the quality of life in America. The thought of that Marxist witch in the White House is my worst nightmare.

I hate the press too. So I guess I know why she is so beastly to them. I would be too.

That said, I hope they dog her to the ends of the earth but somehow, I don’t think they will.
