Great advice. My older sister is in a train wreck. Had a terrible divorce after 11 years, went through hell trying to win him back from his girlfriend. This past summer she met a new guy, they got engaged and were supposed to marry early October. Thankfully that didn’t happen. The bad part, he has been physically violent with her and she is still giving him another chance. I am in the process of finding PI’s to find out his story. He has an ex wife and children. He has no contact with the ex except through email. I find this odd. Combine that with his actions and we are frightened for my sister. She is on the other side of the country which doesn’t help.

You have my sympathy. It's so hard to see a loved one making bad choices that you know are going to end up hurting her. She should, of course, sprint from this guy at top speed, but you'll have a tough time making her see that. Good luck to you--at least she has you for a sister!
