The author seems to have left out WHY that is.
I'm not sure they have this guy properly identified - this could be his false identity. His paternal last name, Euzondo, seems fishy - it's not a common surname in Mexico. If you Google Euzondo, the only thing that comes back is stories about this criminal. More likely the name on his false ID is a misspelling of Elizondo.
