Sofadude, you are a SWEETHEART for asking. I have been irrigating and changing the packing in his wound every evening. He saw the doc yesterday. (A very nice doc, retired Major....he’s the one who showed me how to pack an open wound).

At this point, the doc says we can start letting the wound close on Friday. WOOWHOO! So I have 2 more nights of irrigating and packing Walt’s wound, then it’s just a simple dressing.

How’s your knee?

Oh my that sounds horrible to go through. For you too.

I would have thunk it healed by now.

well, I'm pleased to hear that it's healing. That was a helluva thing...

the knee is....the knee. Not any better and it's not any worse. I have to deal with it I guess.

I've figured out that if I drop an anvil on my left foot, I forget completely about my right knee.
