I always wondered how the Democratic candidates got away with speaking at churches. Hasn’t anyone ever challenged this practice?
Not to my knowledge.

If you want to walk into either situation with your agenda, and giving the pastor or coach a ration of crap when you are told that “we are doing ____ now”, you will probably (and should) find yourself in a situation when you get every chance to work your own agenda and no one is around to hear your brilliant ideas.
For that matter, try acting like the boss and/or telling your boss “no” a few times today and see where that gets ya...
