So let me understand your position...if a man is starving and you have no access to food but you know a lost rich man who does....your position is that the you should not ask the rich man to feed the starving man because the rich man is lost. Therefore the starving man must die. Is that your position?
False choice. There is plenty of Christian humanitarian work going on around the world, all without the benefit of input or help from the likes of Hillary and Obama. Speaking of which, just what are Hillary and Obama’s great humanitarian accomplishments? Blowing lots of self-aggrandizing hot air, taking credit for the work of others, and donating Bubba’s used underwear to Goodwill and taking a tax deduction for it don’t count.
Are you reading your own drivel? If I have no access to food then I WOULD BE the starving man, would'nt I?
Here's another clue -- If you have to twist your logic into a mobius strip of non-sequitars to justify your position, there is probably something quite wrong with what you are trying to justify.
If Warren is concerned with AIDS in Africa, than perhaps a cut of his book deals could be routed there.
If her Thighness Chthulu wants to help with the African AIDS problem, I'm sure our church could find a place for her on our next mission tripto Swaziland. As long as she is willing to get in line and obey our pastor unquestioningly and know her place a follower, not as some one that should be thought of as important.
But letting an ally of the evil one himself, a proven liar and hater, get up in a church and spew is so far beyond anything that can be squared in the christian faith that it is mind boggling to me that anyone would say "What's the problem?"
