Yeah right.
No. I think pathetic crawl sums it up about right.

50 year old democrat?
Well, to be honest its (The Falklands) the best contemporary example of two high tech militaries going to war. Both navies had missile destroyers and aircraft carriers. What was proved was that the UK remains the pre-eminent blue-water navy in Europe, and as my colleagues have said, linked a supply chain that was 8,000 miles long and also undertook what was the longest bombing run in history, until the B52’s bounced off Diego Garcia (UK) en route to Iraq.
Proper air to air combat between Sea Harriers and the Argie Mirages and Super Etendard.
1st naval ‘kill’ for a nuclear submarine (HMS Conqueror) in the history of war.
And, no mean feat here, but the war put paid to the regime of General Galtieri, which saved countless Argentinian civilian and military lives.
So Empire this and that. You have a grudge against the UK, and I’m not going to be shocked if I hear you put a few dollars into those disgusting IRA charities that the US was running during the Troubles!
Your vitriolic posts are out of place in a thread hailing the bravery and success of OUR allies..
Sounds like a British girl dumped you.
I am 13th generation American. Unfortunately, some of my ancestors were killed by the Brits, even though we originally came from England. No one can be intellectually honest and say the Brits don't have a proud history of combat.
