GRAY, Maine -- The National Weather Service is calling for significant snow for the mountains and foothills of western Maine and New Hampshire Friday into Friday night.
By the time the snow tapers to snow showers on Friday night, forecasters said they expect 4 to 8 inches will have fallen across the mountains, with 3 to 6 inches in the foothills.
