the smartest thing that hospital can do is to settle out of court as fast as they can draw the paperwork up, for $50 million, in ADDITION to lifetime top notch medical care for her AND all of her immediate family members. they should buy her a brand new home of her choice in addition to the money. None of this can atone for what they did — but it might make them look more saintly after the horrible thing they did.

Wow. words fail me. i cannot imagine what i would do in her place.

I don’t know, but if I were those negligent doctors, I’d be watching my back a lot more carefully from now on.

They will never settle for a dime. Not one single dime. Why should they? Tort reform, don't you know?

Ironically I wonder if the patient CAN sue. After all, isn’t it “bigotry” to disallow gays to donate organs?
