Greetings to all the Freeper Canteeners. Time for the Saturday Sortie. Still being a lazy bum after another thrilling 12 hours of fun and frivolity at work today. Ah, if only I had been born rich and handsome, instead I got cheated twice :-)

Back to an old reliable tonight, an airplane that helped to provide an full days entertainment for the alfa6 household way back when. That airplane would be the Republic A-10 Warthog. The fun would be at the anual Richards-Gebaur Air Show every summer, where it was gaurenteeed to be hot and as an added bonus, as if sitting on a hundred acres of blacktop with no shade is not enough fun, there would usually be a brief shower just to keep the humidty up.

But a grand time was had by all the family throuout the day. So on with the pics...

An A-10 pulling hard and leaving streamers of the wing tips, reminds me of them ol' summer days :-) Only our A-10s did not have live ordance on the wings!!!
