Thank you, Senate Republicans, for blocking this surrender bill even though it had the funding in it for our war effort.

The Demonrats are such obvious traitors who are proving NOW just how a Demonrat “President” would devastate our military.....it is beyond understanding how any sane American wants them in full power.

But, then, I realize sanity is NOT the strong suit of the Dem supporters.

If the Democrats were people of their word (yeah, right), and they REALLY wanted to end the war, they would vote to defund it. It’s not subject to veto by the President, and they would have done it by now.

Of course, they don’t want to be stuck with the consequences of that action, which is why they are trying to pin it on President Bush. If they make him withdraw, then the blame’s on him. If he doesn’t, according to these bills, then the troops over whom he is Commander in Chief (according to that dust-covered document called the Constitution) get shafted, and that by extension would be Bush’s fault (with the help of the DriveBy Media).

I’m almost 39, in February. I’ve never seen such a blatant and egregious abuse of power as demonstrated by the Democrats. They did it in the minority, and were rewarded last November with the majority. I don’t know the answer to it, and some of my “solutions”, I’ll keep to myself. I just hope that there is still a remnant of the spirit of America that put Ronald Reagan and both Bushes in office (and more importantly, kept Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry out of office), and that we will see that remnant by this time next year.
