I think your analysis in principle is correct but I believe you have the CO2 concentration wrong. The “official” number measured in Hawaii is 377 PPM, which equates to .04% by my calculations. It’s more than it was 100 years ago but not more than it has been in the last 400,000 years at times. Nor is the mean temperature warmer than in recent times when humans thrived.
Your geothermal energy solution and the rapid installation of up-to-date nuclear reactors, as has been done in France and Japan, would make the US a net energy exporter.
The same people who oppose any energy source that isn’t their kind of green, are the ones who scream the loudest for CO2 reductions, but they don’t really want that. They want control.
