The latest estimates of people living illegally in the United States is 20-30 million. That is one heck of a large market with a strong demand for documents. The Free market will fill the void as it always does.
Ten years ago, I learned that you can buy any document you want from companies in the Miami area. One of my employees, a Brazilian, was offered an excellent copy of a US passport, a green card, a Social Security card and a US birth certificate, all for a mere $1000. The illegal document business has to have grown since then. The 30 million number of ilegals is very likely.
