You are absolutely right. It’s the government that is prohibited from regulating religion. The individual has the right to accept or reject any religion.
I have no problem with Romney’s faith. At least he has a belief system based on morality. I have enough other problems with Romney without that one.

Also, if Mr. Romney and his fellow Mormons want to dispel the unease surrounding their religion, perhaps they should open up all their doctrines and rituals to the light of day.
Mormonism and Scientology are about the only 2 major sects I can think of that have so many secrets. How about asking Mr. Romney about non-Mormons not being allowed into a Mormon wedding ceremony even if the non-Mormons are close family?
