I'm not sure I can endure 2 appearances of John Edwards.

Good morning. Not sure what they were thinking or he was thinking to appear on 2 shows. But then, may be there 's shortage of front runners or even regular MSM favs.

Any Vince Flynn books in the bookstores in Riyadh?

I haven't seen any of his novels, but his genre gets through the KSA censors quite easily---as long as the book isn't published in Tel Aviv...

He said they are SPECIFICALLY looking for UNDECIDED voters for the groups

One of those UNDECIDED actually works/worked for the Democrat Party in Arkansas in 2003:

[Page down at this link to the section that states: LaShannon Spencer last night "undecided" and Clinton supporter back in 2003 (on right) getting out the vote.]

Be careful when drinking your coffee and yawning during some of these notables comments. When a guy in England yawned while preparing his coffee, his jaw locked up and he was unable to breathe. (A mad rush to the hospital saved his life.)

It’s more probable that Tim is off to reducation camp for that disgraceful debate performance.

The “pearls or diamonds” questioner worked as an intern for Harry Reid. Reid’s son heads Hillary’s Nevada campaign. Evidently, CNN didn’t look far afield for this “undecided” voter.

Hope he will come out swinging against Hillary.

If John Edwards does that when he is on the camera by himself, it really will show him as a weakling who is afraid to stand up to her when she is actually in the room. He already had that chance and failed to deliver.

Actually, I'm looking forward to getting down to three Democrat candidates, so HIllary Barack and John can have a purse-fight. My money is on Hillary, although Barack has the reach advantage.

I'm pretty sure that was a set-up. They wanted to make it look like Timmy is neutral and even-handed about Clinton. He is not.

He can now maneuver to get her elected without being questioned on it.

The following are the Nielsen ratings for two weeks ago, November 4, 2007, for the Sunday talk shows. Numbers include prime time replays on cable where applicable. In parentheses is change from the previous week.
NBC MEET THE PRESS....3,682,000 (+345,000)
ABC THIS WEEK.........3,019,000 (+838,000)
CBS FACE THE NATION...2,775,000 (+528,000)
FOX NEWS SUNDAY.......2,149,000 (+148,000)
This week's numbers seem to be way off. Of particular note is ABC and CBS. Despite having a largely ho-hum collection of guests (ABC had Edwards and CBS had Biden), both of these shows spiked heavily in the Nielsens, and ABC jumped nearly 40% from the week prior. I'm thinking it was a blip in the Nielsens.

Here are the preliminary results from the cable news replays. (Why it takes me 10 days longer to get the first broadcasts than the replays, I have no idea.)
FOX NEWS SUNDAY.........803,000 (+ 55,000)
NBC MEET THE PRESS......172,000 (-126,000)
I have also taken the liberty of creating a chart based upon the ratings data of the past two-plus months.

When Jimmy Carter's son ran for senate, he couldn't find an anti-war soldier to insult his republican candidate or the Military. Even a liberal democrat was goiing to vote for Republican candidate & this was exposed in a local paper(reported here).

Funny thing - on each of those CNN-democrat debates, they can't find any pro-war, pro-Military questioner. Like dems, like the media.

On FNS, Huckabee is getting a gushing response from Wallace. They talked about the Chuck Norris commercial.

Now he’s spouting FairTax propaganda.

That Chuck Norris commercial is astonishingly stupid.

Maica,

Censorship has weakened significantly in KSA since my first gig here (1999-2003). During that period, just about every news website in the USA was censored, e.g. FreeRepublic!

But now I surf without any blocks; in fact, I've only hit one censored site since my return here. (I can't remember which one to be honest.)

Also, we are getting uncensored DVDs from the West. Earlier, I had to drive across the causeway to Bahrain to buy Soprano DVDs and sneak them past Saudi customs.

Since King Fahd died, King Abdullah is pushing the envelope here (relatively speaking of course). But the changes here cannot be minimized by the West.

Huckabee: I didn't raise taxes, I raised fees. After all, the nursing home industry supported them.

The Iraqi veteran son of the anti-war “undecided voter” questioner at the debate was USED by his own mother as he stood there like a prop for her. I couldn’t believe that a volunteer soldier would be so silent.

To be fair, Huckabee only raises taxes when he needs the money.

Caller on cspan this morning made a good observation about the dems and the chances of Barack Obama.

When Kweisi Mfume ran for Senator from Maryland, the party backed a Liberal Jew, Ben Cardin, instead of Kweisi.

Hillary is the establishment candidate, and the rest (of the men) are window-dressing. CNN got the message loud and clear.

*****

Everyone in America, no matter what form of mass media they prefer, has probably heard the word “hillary” more often than any other word, since the Wednesday after the November 2006 elections. And these past twelve months were just the year before the actual election year. The media were so eager to get started on promoting Mrs Clinton that they began the mantra of inevitability last November. And every rightwing talkshow host fell right into line -— Hillary Hillary Hillary on and on and on.......
