Sorry, I missed a couple of your points. Nice spin on the Z visa, but when you listen to Romney’s 2005 quote in it’s entirity, it is obvious he supports a path to citizenship, and not just for his groundskeepers.
Oh and signing a few pieces of bi-partisan legislation passed by the Democratic legislature, hardly amounts to championing the military cause. I would have been more impressed if, when I stood in line behind Romney in a Kabul chow hall, he had actually made eye-contact with a single soldier or even ask one of us how we were doing. In all fairness, I’m sure when the cameras came out, he was a different man.
Are you a paid member of the Romney Campaign. Your apparently canned spin on Mitt’s recent liberal past made me go back and do a search of your recent posts. Every single one appeared to be a Romney campaign ad. Perhaps like Mitt, you have only recently discovered you are a conservative.
You can bellyache all you want Mitt will get the nomination
Between the two Pop Culture Icons and the Klans man, cross dresser, and the Manchurian candidate Only Mitt shine way above the rest!
Mitt got ya’ nervous? Get a life.
He may well get the nomination, he just won’t get my vote and conservatives will sit this one out in large numbers.
Nervous no, sick yes. The thought of choosing between a candidate to the left of Ted Kennedy on one hand and Hillary on the other does get me nervous. Witnessing what may be the demise of the conservative movement does get me nervous.
Kind of Ironic that you would suggest I “Get a life” over a single Romney thread, when a search of your posts reveals a singular obsession with getting Romney elected. Almost as if that was your job.
That is alright he will be bless enough!
Since you have crowned yourself the "Thread Nanny" and are busy bodying as to who posts what and where, I'll let you in on a little secret: I lurk all the other threads just like everybody else.
I just don't have the burning desire to hear myself talk on all those threads where I agree with most Freepers 99% of the time. How many times do we have to write, "Hillary is evil" or "Secure the border" or "No new taxes" or "Smaller government now" or "Pelosi, Reid and Kennedy are scum" or "Rush is great" or "The drive-by media sucks?" I agree with all those things and I don't need to chime in.
I think you'd be surprised by how many people just lurk and NEVER write a post. They read the thread articles for information.
I even check out all the prayer threads, too! And, usually, instead of writing something, I just say a silent prayer. Imagine that!
On the other hand, the election threads are contentious, false information is spread which requires rebuttal and too much is at stake to ignore them. :-D
