It isn’t about “owning” the company. It is about placement of staff within that industry. Whether that is production, advertising, accounting, etc. Hollywood will tank your project if they want just out of spite. Ask Terry Gilliam to tell you the story of the battle of Brazil sometime.

Big Media is a small world.

AM radio was considered DEAD when Rush Limbaugh started his program. Larry King owned the overnight broadcasts. Even at the start of Rush’s show, the Left threw a hissyfit. Pat Sajek let Rush guest host his tv show for a week and Act Up activists shut down taping and the studio had to be cleared (no audience) to complete the program.

Rush came in under the radar and by the time they realized the power of daytime talk radio (not just “community affairs”, “gardening shows”, “personal investment shows”), it was too late. He was established. Look at where unfriendly programmers shoved his tv show.

As the hardcore Socialist Left has strangled the life out of the DNC, we’ve seen more Democrats become RINO Republicans, diluting the conservative strength of the GOP. The center moves LEFT. The old Yellow Dog Democrats need to take back their party or accept being called Commiecrats.

Oh yeah, I remember them. What do they call themselves now? KOS or something? I bet if you went back and traced those act up types that were smearing their AIDS all over the place, you'd find they are the activist leaders of the Democrat Party and their media stars.
