He was Teddy Light. People went for the real thing.

Yeah, Romney started out talking tough and sounding like a real conservative. Massachusetts voters thought they finally had somebody to rally behind. But as the race wore on Romney cowered from the Boston Globe and ran to the left like a scared bunny rabbit. In the last debate, he was "me-too"-ing Kennedy like a nervous puppy dog, eager to please his liberal press masters. It was pathetic.

Naturally, Romney lost in a landslide.
