GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS' INDOCTRINATOR
Nealz Nuze/WSB RAdio ^ | November 20, 2007 | Neal Boortz

In California, a summit has been called to "close the achievement gap" in government schools.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/11/12/MNH8T5LTC.DTL

California government school warden Jack O'Connell thinks that minority students are performing poorly because of teachers' "widespread cultural ignorance." In other words, the white teachers can't relate to the black and Latino students.

Now enters a man by the name of Glenn Singleton, who runs the Pacific Education Group in San Francisco. He is a consultant for government schools. They take thousands of dollars of taxpayer funds and give those dollars to this man in return for his words of "wisdom." He is the ultimate propagator of "diversity training." He is being hired to teach the Education Department's racial sensitivity classes.

Let's get a little taste of Mr. Singleton's ideology.

http://www.openmarket.org/2007/11/16/embarrass-your-employer-while-getting-rich-off-of-diversity-scams/

Well first of all, he says government schools, not parents, play the biggest role in influencing a child. Well, that would go along with what Marx thought. Why do you think he insisted on the government being in charge of childhood education?

Singleton also says says, "If we were to say that black or brown kids don't perform as well because of their parents, we're saying black and brown parents aren't as effective as white parents," Singleton told The Chronicle. "That's pretty much a racist statement."

That, of course, is a crock. Culturalist, maybe .. but not racist. Give me parents from a culture of achievement any day over parents who are embedded in the culture of victimization and failure. In Singleton's mind it is racist to place any responsibility on the parents of these children.

Instead, we must blame the white teachers for not being able to connect to minority children. Ok, I hope you stomached that statement because it is about to get worse.

In 2002, Singleton got his hands on Seattle government schools. They hired him to indoctrinate students and staff about racism. So what did he do? He immediately attacked individualism and brands any form of individualism as a form of "cultural racism." He goes on to say that "only whites can be racist." There you go ... another warrior in the left's war on individualism.

Singleton also says that planning ahead is a white characteristic and it is racist to assume that minorities will do the same. This reminds me of the professor from a predominately black college in Atlanta who, many years ago, said that the use of logic in an argument was racist. There seems to be no end to this nonsense.

Back to the California schools, Singleton preaches the ubiquity of white privilege and race. He previously made this statement on the topic that California is currently facing: "White teachers (and minority teachers co-opted into the white power structure) stymie black and Hispanic students because they fail to understand their cultures and how daily racial oppression affects their outlook. They also push a curriculum tooled for whites, and are ignorant of the special ways that blacks and Hispanics communicate." Excuses, excuses, excuses. Not one word from Singleton on the culture of failure that permeates the urban school experience. You know, the "learning is a white thing" bit.

Still happy with your kids in government schools?

Government schools equal child abuse. Neal’s words, not mine. I just happen to agree!

Diversity pimps are the greatest threat to America. Diversity training has resulted in the fractured and balkanized hate filled America that we have today. A majority of blacks are proud racists and are open and overt about their racism and hate. RINOs and Dems sit back and allow MeCHA and LaRaza to prosper and indoctrinate more young minds - funding these two groups with our tax dollars. The diversity paradigm is severely wrong and we should be speaking out about it and asking serious questions regarding its efficacy of uniting us as one people.

What a clever scam. If minority achievement doesn’t improve after diversity training, guess what’s next? More diversity training.

It would be interesting to know if achievement ever went up after this guys scam. It certainly hasn’t in Seattle.

The problem is that diversity is only something that is un-American. You cannot include any Christian doctrine of good old fashion Americanism less you be called racist or insensitive.

You know that the school teachers on FR get real tired of essentially being called child abusers, don’t you.

Never thought I'd miss the good old days when we sat in a company classroom laughing at a film (film!) full of little X's learning to interact with little 0's;
and then waited for the ugliest female in the room to insist she'd been sexually harrassed.

"If we were to say that black or brown kids don't perform as well because of their parents, we're saying black and brown parents aren't as effective as white parents. That's pretty much a racist statement."

I don't know whether "black and brown parents" are as effective as "white parents" or not, and I HATE racism!

However, one cannot improve on truth. And not to accept truth is an invitation to misdiagnosis.

This is the fundamental problem with the Left--frankly, mendacity.

If we face truth, no matter how unpleasant it may be, we can probably find a solution to a problem.

It appears that fear of "racism" or being called a racist or actually being a racist is interfering with this man's ability to see reality and solve some very important problems.

It appears that he would come out better to say something like, "Okay. I'm a racist, but this is what needs to be done!" if that, in fact, should be the truth.

I don't say that it is, and I don't accuse this man of being a racist. But it does appear, from his words, that he's letting his fear of "racism" interfere with his ability to solve some very serious problems.

“What is Singleton’s solution ? Segregated schools ?”

This is the solution for the diversity pimps and Dems - it has worked perfectly as planned. They have forced the govt and companies to accept diversity as a good thing and then used the label diversity to divide us by racial, gender and sexual practices. By pitting us against each other they use it as a wedge to get votes by claiming that the real evil is whitey and especially Christian White Males.

The outfall of diversity training will be the downfall of our society - many races can not live together if they have been taught at an early age to hate another race and then been reinforced by school indoctrination that such hate is not only practical but sanctioned and understood.

Everytime you hear diversity is good - remember that it is only a political term in order to promote division and leftist ideology.

“I never mentioned the teachers, just the government schools.”

Oh, so it’s just some nebulous “system” teaching the kids in the classroom, not real human beings?

“Don’t put word’s (sic) in my mouth.”

I’m not. You’ve already done that.

Bully for them. But we DO have public school teachers right here on FR and I was speaking up for them. They get real tired of being called child abusers. And I get real tired of it as a parent whose child goes to public school.

Bigger picture - “diversity” is just another front in the war on TRADITIONALISM. That includes belief in American exceptionalism, that our culture is why we’re successful, and of course, Christianity and Judaeism.
