Sure, taxes and regulations. Im sure every business man in America would absolutely love it if Americans adopted the developing worlds way of life without a fight. No democracy, no civil rights, no unions, no environmental protection, no privacy laws, no minimum wage, no benefits. Im not about to join the race to the bottom without a fight.
Your bias is clear. I'll bet your bumper is adorned with "Union Yes" and "Right to work sucks" stickers as well. Are you planning to "fight" on the picket line? If so, plan to see more factory closings. The people with the capital will invest it where they expect the best return. They have no incentive or obligation to do otherwise. What will you do to make it attractive to invest in factories on U.S. soil?
