I bought one of their CD's a few years ago, and just didn't like it! Don't know why; maybe it was just TOO frenetic for me. I do like Mannheim Steamroller, but they balance their frenzy with more gentle, melodic tunes. I'm not a big fan of most 'popular' Christmas music, though I do have a few CDs.

My tastes in Christmas Music tend more towards the Classical, both instrumental and choral. I really love 'early' music; both the Medieval and Renaissance eras. I got to see Boston Camerata for the first time last year when they did their 'Noel, Noel' program, which was French music. This year, they're doing their 'Renaissance program', which is my FAVORITE Christmas CD. I'm hoping that our daughter can get her flight home for Christmas that day. I'll pick her up from the airport and go right into Cambridge for the performance. I also have several CD's by a group called Anonymous 4; 4 women who do all their music a cappella, and sound like I would imagine the angels sound.

Can't wait for tomorrow which is my self imposed deadline on starting Christmas music! Otherwise I'd listen all year.

Yes the switch must be strange and also he has to be semi serious for the pardoning however silly he may find it because especially the children except it to be a proper ceremony.

Out of a can what like the Pillsbury dough boy.

I do not think we can buy stuff like that in Britain any more I used to love their croissants. What we have instead in part baked one in vacuum packed plastic. I love the little dinner type rolls and the larger baguette ones I often serve those with casserole or stew.

Yup exactly, like the Pillsbury dough boy. Actually it’s not a can but more or less a roll, which you open by pressing a spoon to the seam on the side.

I agree. I thought the very same thing about their CDs for Christmas...one sweet/good song combined with so many that were too harsh for the season.

Their concert is entirely a different matter. THIS is their venue for me. It is an experience that is unmatched EVER by ANYone.

I LOVE Christmas music too! (it's my birthday) and LOVE that everything is decorated and people are nice to each other and EVERY one gets presents! I can't WAIT to decorate! In fact...since we're having a quiet Thanksgiving...I'm going to start tomorrow.

I go to visit my Mom for her b-day (Dec 5th #87) soon. Hubby and my anniversary is the 3rd of December, and my oldest Dachshund's b-day is the 31st--he'll be 16!!! He acts like he's around 7!

December is a month I like to celebrate EVERY DAY!

Yes, that is what you did first. Then they came out with those where you pressed a spoon on the side to pop them open
