I have ie6 on Linux working do my wife can use her VPN to her office.

have you tried the User Agent Switcher in Firefox for that? I didn't realize any VPNs required a certain browser.

Security certificates, and active X, are the problem.

Foxmarks bookmark synchronizer extension

Firefox prevented this site (www.freerepublic.com) from asking you to install software on your computer. This was the message when I clicked on your link.

That's a standard security procedure that Firefox takes for all such links. Nothing to be suspicious of.

Try the Foxmarks site itself.

This thing is buggier than (Pick MS product)!!!

There is no way I’m using this; I’ll keep my 2.x until they get the other 300 bugs dealt with!

I am finding more features on Firefox, I really don’t know it well, but my son insisted I use it some years ago.

Same here.
I used Sea Monkey to replace Mozilla Suite but it kept changing my color from 32 to 8 bit. Am back to FF and Tbird but would like to access my old Sea Monkey mail.

Looking forward to seeing what other improvements they’ll come out with. I don’t really use bookmarks but I’ve been FF-only for probably 3 years now and I love it. Especially if they can make it faster - I just got a new computer yesterday and FF already flies on it!

Sure hope that they eventually put the ability for a user to set a default text sixe, so that every time I open a new window, I don’t have to keep changing the text size. even when it’s a new tab, it opens in Ff default, and not the user set one. I find that annoying.

Security certificates, and active X, are the problem.

In that case I use the IE Tab extension if I absolutely have to go to the site. It basically frames IE functionality in a Firefox tab.

Its beta. It won't be long before the "gold" version is available for release by Mozilla.
