I think the North Carolina primary is on the far side of Easter, too. It may be all over by then.

I could have said “Six of one, seven of the other,” because I think Giuliani is just a little less of Hillary. I don’t believe we can beat a liberal Democrat by running a liberal Republican.

Los Angeles port was given away by the Clintons to the Chinese already. I believe San Franscisco too. Dubai did NOT get our ports.

Yes look at the complicity spanning party and administration. Th only reason Dubai didn't get their way was because of a Conservative uprising of the people, and that same handful of conservatives who stood in the breach until the people gave them overwhelming power in agreement.

Actually the Republicans stopped it.

No, the Republicans, the leadership, were complicit in the amnesty. Again, it was just the Conservative Republicans and the Blue Dog Democrats who waited upon the will of the people.

If the leadership of both parties had gotten their way (and they damn near did), the Republicans would not be able to win an election ever again- as there is no way they could overcome 20m+ newly minted democrats.

One would have to question the Republican motive in the entire agenda! What is to be gained from knocking yourself out of political power unless that power is not important anymore? The only thing that makes sense is collusion between the Liberals and the Free Traitor Globalists.

"Th only reason Dubai didn't get their way was because of a Conservative uprising of the people, "

Bingo! Now you are getting it! And if you throw the baby out with the bath water by letting the DEMs take over, your uprising will fall on deaf ears! My Conservative Congressman needs Republicans, not DEMs, to work with.

"No, the Republicans, the leadership, were complicit in the amnesty. Again, it was just the Conservative Republicans and the Blue Dog Democrats who waited upon the will of the people."

i.e., the Republicans stopped it. You'll have no "uprisings" with Hillary at the helm. Just so you know.

A small observation: I live in NH, and on the way to work I get to see the little (or in some cases HUGE) campaign signs on people's lawns. Today, I saw two Tancredo signs, one that said "Hillary" (no bullet pock marks in the sign, unfortunately), a Huckabee sign, one Romney sign, and a few Ron Paul signs. Not a single sign for Julie Annie.

And how many lawns had no signs at all? I'm guessing that the typical Giuliani supporter isn't the type to put signs on his lawn.

“What do I win?”

A first class ticket to the Democratic Party, just like the rest of the slaves.

Nonsense! It fell on deaf ears anyway.

i.e., the Republicans stopped it.

No, If you really want to get technical, the whole deal went in the shi**er when her Heinous, Ms. Pelosi found she could not bend the Blue Dogs to her will. Since they stood with the Conservatives, there was no way it would get past the house... So a good portion of the credit must go to the Blue Dog Democrats.

And the Conservatives were off the Republican Reservation too, BTW.. In a full and flagrant rebellion. So while the win rests in the Conservatives, I would not be so kind as to extend ANY credit to the Republicans.

While I tip my hat to your dedication and zeal, if Jesus Himself ran as the GOP candidate, He would lose to Hillary.

The American economy is going to be in a severe recession next year. A real ugly one.

It's a perfect storm the Republican are facing.

Oh...she'll only be a 1-termer like Carter, but like you said, the color of SCOTUS will be deep blue.

That a fact ... why don’t we throw Bloomberg into the ring as well. He also wears an “R” behind his name. Poseurs. Career politicians.

Those of us in Ohio have lived with stinking RINOS. Tactless, DeWiner, Voinabitch ... and Boehner(Kennedunks education lap dog.) Nope. Not gonna do it again (Sorry Mr. Hannity) to preserve a party .... a party that grows more liberal every day.

Name for me 5 conservative senators with a spine. Name me 10 congrescritters with a set of stones. You will have to think hard.

No more.

Is there any single (or set of) core value against which you will not vote?

Pretty much everything that Hillery is for.

You will vote for the least objectionable candidate.

Beats sitting home and pouting. There usually are some advantages of voting for the least objectionable, especially in this case, if for no other reason, then national security and a strong Unites States Armed Forces. Also, I cannot stand that schmuck schumer, and any freind of his has got to be a puke.

My major problem with at least one of the R contenders touches 3 bedrock issues - two of which are moral issues and the third is a constitutional issue. With those three issues against this candidate, I find I cannot violate my own core principles and pull the lever for him. To do so would mean that I am willing to give up my core beliefs - to prostitute my vote for whoever gets the R nomination.

Which is why you got to work your butt off in the primaries. Also, to have an interest early on in a candidate's career, even the dog catcher. Most candidates (excluding her highness) usually do municipal, then state house, then the federal house or governorships etc prior to the big move. Once they are in the big leagues, your choices are narrowed, for several reasons your are no doubt aware of. The question is, which way do you want the ball to move. Their goal or ours.

Please note: I do NOT try to convince others that they should follow this path for themselves.

LOL. On this board, you are not going to convince anybody of anything. Freepers, if anything, are very strong minded politically, that is why they are here. However, discussion is always welcome. The best answer to vitriol is to blow them off and simply let it go.

Don;t get me wrong here. I have not stated that I love the choices we have thus far. Only that there are differences. Some of the similarities turn my stomach, but some of the differences give me an opening to work on. I gave up sending letters to my senators (babs boxer and DiFi)years ago, because we simply have nothing to agree on, and every letter that they answered could just as well have had a photo copy of the bird on it, addressed to me, based on the text. I have sent letters to more conservative politicos, and actually have had reasoned replys, and yes, sometimes was able to move the ball more to my side.

I do not think that we will ever get another Reagan, who also had his faults, especially one who we KNOW is from his mold prior to voting for him and giving him a chance to grow with the office, but I am not going to sit out the process until we do. I think to do so would only bolster the left's position of power. After all, that is thier primary objective. Not welfare, not SS, not a strong military, they could care less which way the abortion debate goes. They simply have a position on every subject based on what gets them the most votes, because THAT is what they are after, this country be damned. I will not sit out thier move to turn this country into a failed, third rate, third world has been where they sit on their throne and dole out goodies to the nice voters. Goodies brought with your hard earned dollars that they confiscate.

Like I have already said, you do what you need to do and us Conservatives will work to keep Hillary out of the Whitehouse.

No. You get Hillary. Next question.

What makes you so sure that the Hildebeast will be the candidate? I happen to think that Obama will be their candidate. He is much more likable that Clinton, and he doesn't talk down to people the way that she does. Even some Dems get annoyed with Her Thighness.

I am not sure that Hillary will get the nomination. I am just arguing the hypothetical of Hillary against Rooty.
